Summer Picnic Event Brings Out Members From Other Clubs

Speak to Inspire TM Picnic

What a fantastic picnic event we had Wednesday August 2nd at noon at Chingacousy Park. This is a regular meeting time for Speak to Inspire Toastmasters Club located in the Centre for Education & Training, Brampton East campus, 263 Queen St East Unit 14, in Brampton. This is a great public noon hour club that gets a lot of newcomers to Canada in the center wanting to improve their communication and language skills.

The picnic was a great success as you can see with all the lovely food that everyone brought. Thank you for all for your generous contributions. This blog is to not just encourage other clubs but to 'challenge' othere clubs to take advantage of the free facilities around your community and invite other club members in the area like we did to make it a fantastic area event. We had the pleasure of having our Area 34 Director Cindy Tate, Division B Director Maheeza Mohamed, D86 Public Relations Manager Matthew Ogbulafor and Area 33 Director and club member Patricia James. I'd also like to thank members from Rogers TM and City of Brampton TM for coming out.

On Aug 9th from 12-1pm we will be having a Tall Tales Contest to warm us up for the Humourous Speech and Table Topics Contest and we have been able to recruit outside members from our area to come out and help out our small club. If interested in coming out for a visit please contact Tuula Redditt.
