  • Area 55 encompasses the stunning geography of Niagara Falls, Welland and the surrounding areas.  Two clubs are located in Niagara Falls (Honeymoon City and HatchMasters) and two in Welland (Niagara College and Rose City).  All are community-based clubs open to anyone 18 years of age or over, who has a desire to develop their public speaking and/or leadership skills. 
  • Niagara College Toastmasters Club meets Tuesdays for an hour over the lunch hour, and HatchMasters convenes Thursdays over the lunch hour. Honeymoon City Toastmasters and Rose City Toastmasters offer 2-hour evening meetings on Wednesdays and Thursdays respectively.

Area 55 - Humorous and Table Topics Speech Contest

Date:  Thursday October 12, 2017
Time: 7-9:30 pm
Location:  Niagara College - Welland Campus - corner of First Avenue and Woodlawn Road, Applied Health Sciences Building, Room AH263 (2nd floor) . Take Woodlawn Road to parking lot G4. Parking is FREE. Use the Applied Health entrance and then just follow the signs:  http://welland.toastmastersclubs.org/directions.html.

Toastmasters Area 55 warmly invites you to a side-splitting evening of entertaining speeches during the Humorous Speech Contest and creatively spontaneous thinking during the Table Topics Contest.

October 27, 2017 Division L Table Topics and Humorous Speech Contests:

Many thanks to all the club members who came out to volunteer and cheer wildly for our Area 55 contestants, Greg Lewis and Charlie Kennedy, both from Rose City Toastmasters Club. It was a deep field of contestants for both contests.  Here are the placings:
