Message from the Area 57 Director
St. Catharines packs a lot of punch for a small city – bordering beautiful Lake Ontario and the world-famous Welland Canal, sheltered by the Niagara Escarpment, graced by 1,000 acres of parks & gardens and surrounded by vineyards, and having a fascinating history dating back to Loyalist times (including serving as a station on the Underground Railroad).
Our Toastmasters clubs also pack a lot of punch – visit us and see what we’re all about! Our members are friendly & enthusiastic -- they're ready to help you achieve whatever goals you have in mind. I look forward to meeting you.
On May 31, 2017 Garden City Toastmasters, the oldest club in Ontario, is celebrating their 65th anniversary with a special event at Club Capri in Thorold. This is an amazing and historic accomplishment, and we invite any fellow Toastmasters or members of the public to attend. The event is ticketed and includes awards, refreshments and a special guest speaker -- for more information please visit the club's website at http://1102.toastmastersclubs.org/
