Welcome to the District 86 Website

What does Success mean to you?  This year the District 86 theme is Finding the KEY to Success.  District 86 was born July 1, 2008 and serves more than 4500 Toastmasters in Southwestern, Central and Northern Ontario.  We are one of the most dynamic districts within Toastmaster’s International with new members and long term members who have a passion for Toastmasters.  Dr. Smedley knew in 1924 that people needed better communication and leadership skills and that is even more evident today.  I am so very thankful for his vision.

Set your goals today, define what it is you want to accomplish, where you want to go.  Take action by Finding the Key to Success that will unlock your potential.  Goals only have value if they help improve and develop your potential.  Success means something different to each one of us.  As we stretch out of our comfort zones and find the key that unlocks our potential, we will grow in our communication and leadership skills, gain more self confidence and change our world – one step at a time. Think about a benefit that your current growth plan may give you in the future.  As we grow, we will reach out to others and help them reach their potential as well.

The opportunities are limit-less on the journey of success, this journey of finding the key to unlocking our potential.  Let’s enjoy the journey!!!
