Checklists are important for several reasons, both in personal and professional settings. They provide a structured and organized way to manage tasks, processes, and activities.
If you are a club officer and you think that there isn’t much to do in August, here is a list of some of the activities to check off to help you get back on track for September.
August- all officers:
- Attend club officer training if you did not attend in June or July. Deadline Aug 31.
- Review your club’s goals for the current year Distinguished Club Program (DCP).
Secretary
- If not already done so, order Club officer pins from Toastmasters International for every executive role. Order member and club officer badges.
Treasurer
- Collect member dues and submit membership list with payment to Toastmasters International.
VP Public Relations
- Use seasonal messaging in your social channels weekly to promote your club meetings.
VP Membership
- Promote the Smedley Award membership contest (Aug 1 – Sept 30).
VP Education

- Confirm the dashboard accurately reflects the club officers that attended COT. Reach out to the PQD if discrepancies seen.
