Yes, Blogging is Worth It!
Blogging is another public relations strategy to give your club more online visibility by driving traffic to your website.
Every time you create and publish a blog post, it’s one more indexed page on your website, which means one more opportunity for you to show up on the search engine results page and drive traffic to your website in organic searches.
This acts as a signal to search engines that your website is active, and for scanning frequently to see fresh content.
Once you publish your blog article, repurpose the blog content for social media. With each new blog article you write, you’re producing information that can be shared multiple times across your social media channels.
Do you want to blog for your club, but your club doesn’t have a blog? Submit a blog article to the district at https://toastmasters86.org/blogs/. Don’t forget to add a link to your club’s website in your blog article. You want to give the reader the opportunity to visit your website to learn more about your club. Once you blog article is published, share a teaser of your article across your social media channels with a link to where they can find your blog. In the same social media post, also include a link to your website for the reader to click on for your club’s meeting information.
